Are vulnerable people being de-classified from Covid-19 Vaccinations

Some people have a higher chance of getting severely ill if they catch coronavirus. These people may be at:

  • high risk (‘clinically extremely vulnerable’)
  • moderate risk (‘clinically vulnerable’)

People at high risk will have been advised to take extra cautionary measures to protect themselves (‘shield’) during the pandemic.

Some of these people are reporting that they are not being considered for the Covid-19 Vaccinations under that category

Many of those sick have shielded for nearly a year now and have no hope of being protected until they reach the ‘general population’ criteria for Vaccination.
